Different programs may be optimized for Mac or PC desktops or for iOS or Android devices. Estimating the amount of material you need to build a deck is part art, part science. The drawing will specify the size, type and quantity of deck piers or footings you’ll need. It will also indicate the size and length of any posts and beams necessary. There are several different deck design ideas that allow you to a build a custom deck for your home. Decking materials vary, but the most popular back deck ideas are made of wood.

Decking Materials

This deck consists of rim joists that make up the deck’s perimeter filled in with joists that support the decking. Whether you’re building a wood deck or a composite deck, the process is the same. Wood decks tend to be less expensive than composite decks, but require more maintenance.

The foundation is the deck support which is made of concrete piers or footings. Composite materials are made of a combination of wood and plastic fibers, usually from recycled materials. Breathe new life into little used outdoor areas in your yard for added fun. Its style and size should match your taste and fit the way you and your family use the deck. The new collection includes the uber-popular 12-foot Skelly, which consistently sells out, and a handful of other spooky, skeleton-esque decorations. You can get inspired by real wood deck ideas or by designs using composite lumber. Whether you’re looking for back deck ideas or simply outdoor deck ideas in general, choosing the right one will transform your overall outdoor space. Cohesive deck design provides the perfect spot for relaxing in your outdoor living area. Don’t forget to include deck decor such as pillows, pergolas and other accessories to complement your deck style. The best deck design software programs are user-friendly and comprehensive without breaking the bank. They help create a detailed deck layout and get you ready to build.

Building a raised platform requires careful planning, some DIY experience and reliable tools. However, a well-built elevated deck can add visual appeal to your outdoor space. Your deck drawings will indicate the size of the ledger board, as well as the size, number and location of deck piers or deck footings. In the example video, the builder has opted to lay out the footings first. However, it’s often easier to set the ledger board first to use it as a reference point. You also won’t have to step over any string lines as you install it.

A raised deck is attached to the house by a ledger and supported on the opposite end by posts set on top of piers. The terms “piers” and “footings” are often used interchangeably though they are technically not the same thing. Depending upon building code requirements and soil conditions in your area, footings may also be required beneath the piers to spread the deck’s weight out. These specifications will be detailed in your deck drawings and guided by local building codes. With the posts or beams in place, it’s time to build the deck frame.

It’s typically easier to install joist hangers now, but you will need to make sure that they are placed at the proper height. If you’re installing the joists between the beams, you’ll have to install the joist hangers first. To install joist hangers, make a simple template using a cut end of the joist material that’s about 3 to 4 inches long. Nail a scrap piece of lumber on top of the cut joist piece so that it hangs over the end about 1 to 2 inches. What is Research Design? Types, Elements and Examples

example of research design

Simply put, you are probably not the only person in the world to have thought about this question or issue and those related to it. Perhaps there is a good study out there of fishing communities, but no one has quite asked the “justification” question. You are motivated to address this to “fill the gap” in our collective knowledge. And maybe you are really not at all sure of what interests you, but you do know that [insert your topic] interests a lot of people, so you would like to work in this area too. That is a professional motivation and a very important one to articulate. Creating a research topic explains the type of research (experimental, survey research, correlational, semi-experimental, review) and its sub-type (experimental design, research problem, descriptive case-study).

Experimental Design

Westat assigned all sampled cases a result code for their participation in the screener, and then they assigned a result for the extended questionnaire for those who were eligible for the survey of Asian Americans. One is the category “4.313 No such address.” This category is for addresses that were returned by the U.S. This status indicates the address, which was on the USPS Delivery Sequence File at the time of sampling, currently is not occupied or no longer exists. The second category is “4.90 Other.” This category contains 588 addresses that were never mailed because they had a drop count of greater than four. Drop points are addresses with multiple households that share the same address.

Types of quantitative research designs

This approach is about gaining a rich, detailed understanding of a specific context or phenomenon, and you can often be more creative and flexible in designing your research. But this design can’t confirm a causal relationship between the two variables. Any change in test scores could have been influenced by many other variables, such as increased stress and health issues among students and teachers. A well-planned research design helps ensure that your methods match your research aims and that you use the right kind of analysis for your data. Keep in mind that when it comes to research, it’s important to manage your risks and play as conservatively as possible.

What is a Research Design? Definition, Types, Methods and Examples

Researchers would randomly assign participants to either a control group (receiving a placebo) or an experimental group (receiving the new drug). They would rigorously control all variables (e.g, age, medical history) and manipulate them to get reliable results. Researchers hold all variables constant except for an independent variable to attribute changes to it, rather than other factors. A number of sensitivity checks were performed to test the robustness of the findings, and the main conclusions were consistently upheld. The survey also asked respondents how many adults ages 18 or older live in their household including themselves, from one to 10 adults.

Qualitative research design types and qualitative research design examples

example of research design

As an example, let’s assume your research aims involved understanding how people cope with chronic pain from a specific medical condition, with a view to developing a theory around this. In this case, grounded theory design would allow you to explore this concept thoroughly without preconceptions about what coping mechanisms might exist. You may find that some patients prefer cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) while others prefer to rely on herbal remedies. Based on multiple, iterative rounds of analysis, you could then develop a theory in this regard, derived directly from the data (as opposed to other preexisting theories and models). These examples demonstrate the diversity of research designs used in different fields to address a wide range of research questions and objectives. Researchers select the most appropriate design based on the specific context and goals of their study.

Experimental research design is used to determine if there is a causal relationship between two or more variables. With this type of research design, you, as the researcher, manipulate one variable (the independent variable) while controlling others (dependent variables). Doing so allows you to observe the effect of the former on the latter and draw conclusions about potential causality. This stage involves scheduling interviews, arranging questionnaires and preparing all the necessary tools for collecting information from participants.

Qualitative Research vs Quantitative Research

You also have put together a plan for data collection, which might include drafting an interview guide or making plans for observations. And so you know exactly what you will be doing for the next several months (or years!). To put the project into action, there are a few more things necessary before actually going into the field.

Developmental Psychology Research Methods - Verywell Mind

Developmental Psychology Research Methods.

Posted: Wed, 01 Nov 2023 07:00:00 GMT [source]

The first step in the research design process is figuring out what you want to achieve. This involves identifying your research question, goals and specific objectives you want to accomplish. Think whether you want to explore a specific issue or develop a new theory? Setting your aims from the get-go will help you stay focused and ensure that your study is driven by purpose.

Detail how long your study will take and what procedures will be followed for recording and analyzing the data. Qualitative approach is used to examine the behavior, attitudes, and perceptions of individuals in a given environment. This type of study design relies on unstructured data retrieved through interviews, open-ended questions and observational methods. Study frameworks can fall into 2 major categories depending on the approach to compiling data you opt for. The 2 main types of study designs in research are qualitative and quantitative research.

In summary, research questions are constructed after establishing the background of the study. Thus, it is crucial to have excellent research questions to generate superior hypotheses. In turn, these would determine the research objectives and the design of the study, and ultimately, the outcome of the research.12 Algorithms for building research questions and hypotheses are shown in Fig.

This involves manipulating variables to establish cause-and-effect relationships. The research methods you use depend on the type of data you need to answer your research question. There are many other ways of analysing qualitative data depending on the aims of your research.

The essentials of action research design follow a characteristic cycle whereby initially an exploratory stance is adopted, where an understanding of a problem is developed and plans are made for some form of interventionary strategy. Then the intervention is carried out [the "action" in action research] during which time, pertinent observations are collected in various forms. The new interventional strategies are carried out, and this cyclic process repeats, continuing until a sufficient understanding of [or a valid implementation solution for] the problem is achieved. The protocol is iterative or cyclical in nature and is intended to foster deeper understanding of a given situation, starting with conceptualizing and particularizing the problem and moving through several interventions and evaluations. Statistical conclusion validity examines the extent to which conclusions derived using a statistical procedure are valid. For example, it examines whether the right statistical method was used for hypotheses testing, whether the variables used meet the assumptions of that statistical test (such as sample size or distributional requirements), and so forth.

How To Enter Toll House Basement In Baldur's Gate 3

toll house basement bg3 act 2

Personally, I’m the complete opposite, wanting to find and sell every spoon and bone I can find and explore every corner of the map imaginable. One such corner that’s easy to miss in BG3 is the secret room hidden in the Toll House basement. By following any of the methods, the secret vault door will be activated, and the stone wall in between these chairs will lift, revealing the hidden Toll House Vault. The seats of both stone chairs are equipped with pressure plate mechanisms. To activate these mechanisms, players need to disable the Group Mode and have two characters sit in the stone seats. Alternatively, players can utilize weighty objects from the environment, such as vases, to substitute for party members on the chairs.

BG3 Honor Mode In-Depth Guide for Act II

To identify them as traps you must pass a [Perception 15] check, but you don’t need to pass such a check to spot them, and once detected they can be avoided. Disarm [Sleight of Hand 10] the traps or avoid them, then go through a gate to the north to reach another room. More traps await in here, and once those have been dealt with you’ll spot two chairs to the west, and a suspicious section of wall. If you sit on a chair you’ll hear a click, letting you know something is working. Sit on both chairs and the wall to the west will lower, letting you reach the secure storage section of the basement.

In the Tollhouse Master's Office there is a Heavy Chest with the Ironvine Shield. There are some rotten floorboards that can be broken to get to the floor below, where there are two chests. On the wall of the floor below, a passive Perception check (DC 15) will reveal a button that will allow you to exit the room.

Baldurs Gate 3 Toll House Secret Room

I've stumbled on a few posts from months ago about this and none seems to have an answer. In the toll house in Act 2 where you fight Gerringothe Thorm, you can find several hints to something existing in the basement of the tollhouse. In this hole you can find several dead bodies, but no significant loot in any of them or in the surrounding area. If you have a party of four, just sit two characters down and leave them there while the other two search the secure room.

(1 of 3) East of the Toll House you’ll find a Burrow Hole - only the smallest characters (halflings who have been subjected to a Reduce spell, for example) can enter. Now you know how to beat the Tollhouse boss and get all the loot available in this rather large rich-filled location. Maybe you can afford some of the juicy items from the traders in Moonrise and Last Light, or maybe it adds to your savings for all the powerful items still coming in Baldur’s Gate. As you enter the Toll House, you will find plenty of loot, along with trails of gold all along the floor.

Baldurs Gate 3 Toll House Secret Room & How To Enter It

You can also plainly see the not-so-secret room on both the map and behind the wall, complete with a fancy-looking Gilded Chest. Here you'll find a Stone Chair on either side of the wall blocking you from getting into the secret room. Place two companions or large objects on the two chairs, at which time you’ll see a click on the screen and the wall will open. A similar tollhouse in act one has the notorious, but pretty well hidden, chair puzzle that reveals extra loot.

Keep practicing until the fight is in your favor, and you’ll beat the Reithwin Toll House in Baldur’s Gate 3. Here is a guide on how to defeat and explore the Reithwin Toll House in Act of Baldur’s Gate 3. The loot items from the Toll House Basement will include a Greataxe (+1) and the Gloves of Heroism in Baldur’s Gate 3.

Leave 2 characters on the chairs, because after they get up, the passage will close again. Delegate again a character capable of detecting and disarming traps to investigate the secret room (among others. long board on the floor. In BG3 there is a locked basement in the Toll House with Anders and other paladins hunting Karlach.

BG3 Toll House Basement Secret Room Guide

This page of the guide describes this puzzle - you will learn where to find the key and how to unlock the secret chamber in the basement in the region of the Path of the Awakened. The basement can be accessed from outside on the south side of the building. A Perception (DC 10) will reveal a button on the left hand side wall that will open the bookcases to reveal a secret room. Gerringothe's Logbook, a Soul Coin and a Gilded Chest can be found in this room. Roots will take you down another floor, to another room containing some alchemy ingredients and a single Rustic Chest.

I feel like I should have left wrapping up that quest until I was just about to leave to the underdark. While scrutinizing the map of the Toll House in Baldur’s Gate 3, players might notice a concealed room that piques their interest. Accessing this hidden area, like many others in the game, can be quite challenging.

This Toll House and its environs is where the quest Hunt the Devil takes place, but there’s also a fair amount to loot in the Toll House itself. This page will provide a walkthrough for the Toll House, including information about solving the puzzle under the Toll House and opening the secret door. To reveal the concealed area, synchrony is vital—every Stone Chair requires simultaneous activation. Players can opt to have party members sit on the chairs or move vases onto them. However, exercising caution before entering the unlocked room is prudent. For solo adventurers, it’s advisable to deactivate Group Mode to prevent companions from inadvertently triggering the gray plate while following.

Apart from that, you can find a Gilded Chest there, which you can open to receive a decent amount of Gold. Baldur’s Gate 3 can be an overwhelming experience, especially when you spend over 50 hours on Act 1 and arrive in the second act only to find it’s just as large — if not even bigger. Act 2 takes you to the Shadow-Cursed Lands and drastically changes the story’s tone as you fight to take down the Cult of the Absolute and the seemingly immortal warlord Ketheric Thorm.

For those of you who have acquired a Moonlantern and can explore the Shadowlands safely, you may find a few POIs you can visit. One of those locations is the Toll House, a place with a mini-boss and plenty of gear and treasure for you to find if you so desire. Considering this location is filled with potential mini boss combat skip and hidden room and treasure for you to stumble across, there’s plenty of content to find and potentially miss out on. Here’s a look at the Reithwin Toll House in Act 2 of Baldur’s Gate 3, featuring boss options, loot and more. So you can disarm the vent traps present in both rooms or cover them up like before.

Once you get to the Tollhouse Basement, you can use the key to unlock the Vault door in BG3. This should then cause the “wall” to slide and reveal the hidden chamber behind it. In the basement, you can use Toll Collector’s key to open the door or use Knock Spell to open the door. With that out of the way, here are the major things you’ll want to make sure you do in each area of Act 2. We’ve listed Last Light Inn first as the game railroads you to that location first.

Baldurs Gate 3 Toll House Secret Room & How To Enter It

As the three fake Paladins of Tyr will be present in the Toll House, things won’t go smoothly for you if you bring her along. If you do, you will have to fight the Paladins, so you should leave Karlach at Camp and then come to the Toll House to explore the basement there. Head into the house and open the Ornate Wooden Hatch to enter the basement. The main quest list for Act 2 is actually quite small and streamlined, but there’s a ton of content that pops up around that main quest. Your main objective from the end of Act I carries over here, as you’ll finally be able to access Moonrise Towers. As mentioned before, the Toll House mostly serves as the location where the quest Hunt the Devil takes place.

They’ll often be somewhat near her, and the distant ones seem to get closer to her as the fight starts. So, just keep your party spread somewhat within the meter range of the boss to get the distant visages, while the other party members stay close to the boss and can hit the closer visages to her. Ideally, also have a tanky character be the one in close range of the boss, as she can deal some pretty high spell damage. So here you can place one heavy item (1) and (2) on each one of these stone chairs, e.g., by taking the large vases present on the table. Similarly, you can also use your party members to sit on each of these chairs as well. So once you spot a trap, you can place a box or barrel to block the poison gas vents.

Baldurs Gate 3 Toll House Secret Room

If you have your party clumped up, then the fight could get slightly harder for you, especially on Tactician. So, spread out when possible, and try to keep your party at least 5-10 meters away from the next party member to avoid any splash effects safely. Pick up the key and then make your way back to the Toll House and then use the Ornate Wooden Hatch on the right side of the door.

You cannot pick this lock and you cannot damage it unless you can deal more than 22 damage per attack - likely a laborious process, at this stage. There is a key, however - climb down two ladders along the southern edge of the Toll House and follow the road downhill. Hold down the “alt” key as you go and you should find the Toll Collector’s Key along the rocks. This will open the door, and frankly, it’s the simplest way to get past the door under the Toll House. Use the Toll Collector’s Key and open the door to the east, but be wary, as there are vents on the ground.

I found the roots that lead to a secret cellar behind a bookshelf in the basement but, after exploring the cellar, I've found nothing down there. I can't imagine that there isn't a purpose for it and I was curious if anyone had figured out what that purpose is? Every time I search for BG3 Tollhouse on google it keeps directing me to the Act 1 Tollhouse with the pallies and the puzzle that involves sitting on the chairs. Even if I narrow the Search to include Reithwin I still get that puzzle answer lol.

If you don’t (perhaps you sneaked down here with the Reduce spell?) you can put some nearby vases on the chairs - their weight is apparently sufficient to trigger the door. Once the wall is lowered, be sure to disarm three more traps (two vents and a linear trap [Perception 10], [Sleight of Hand 10]). Failing that, there’s another way to get behind the door under the Toll House, but this takes some fairly specific circumstances. First, head around to the eastern end of the Toll House, where you can find a Burrow Hole [Perception 5], which is too small for you to enter, even if you’re a smaller race.

Reithwin Tollhouse

toll house basement bg3 act 2

The interior is occupied by some paladins of Tyr - Anders, Tryna and Cyrel, the last of which is also a merchant, although she sells little of interest. If you talk to Anders you can start the aforementioned quest Hunt the Devil, but these three are otherwise uninteresting. Gerringothe Thorm can be found on the south wing of the top floor searching for gold. Reithwin Tollhouse is a location found in the south eastern area of Reithwin Town, directly south of the Mason's Guild. It will be the first location you reach if you arrive from across the central bridge south west of the Ruined Battlefield. Having your party spread around is certainly a strong strategy, largely thanks to the Visages doing various forms of AOE elemental damage to your party.

Toll House BG3 Walkthrough: Toll Collector's Key, Chair Puzzle and Secret Door

With the boss defeated, you can get her key to her office and get the bigger prizes. Throughout the building, you’ll find clerk rooms filled with treasure chests, safes that need strength checks to open them. You can also find several perception checks to find hidden notes to open other safes nearby and finding loose planks, levers and floors to blow up to get into otherwise hidden rooms. Most of these rooms have locked chests containing gold and other magic items for you to find.

There are eight vent traps on the floor in total (four in each room), so you’ll do well to deactivate them all before you go any further. If you can’t deactivate them (you’ll need to pass a Perception check and then Disarm each one), then you’ll simply have to walk carefully around them. (1 of 4) Sit (or place vases on) two chairs in the Toll House basement to unlock a secret door. The excitement surrounding Baldurs Gate 3 has escalated, and avid gamers are eagerly seeking the easiest, fastest, and smoothest tricks to conquer the game’s puzzles. It’s worth noting that the developers have gone to great lengths to incorporate puzzles and quests into the game, creating a perfect rollercoaster of adrenaline. Dedicated fans of Dungeons and Dragons (DoD) understand that patience, wit, and a touch of logic are crucial in mastering BG3.

There is a marble plate trap just inside the door, as well as two more vent traps. The pick of the items is a Great Axe +1 on the weapon rack on the table in the middle of the room, plus some Gloves of Heroism in the wooden chest. Once in the basement, you’ll see the Dead Toll Collector next to a large Vault Door to the east. Use the key you got outside to open the vault, but be careful as there are traps just inside.

In our guide we explain how to get to the basement of the building with paladins led by Anders, as well as how to open the doors in the basement and how to get to the secret room by solving the puzzle. The place will be trapped, so you need to be careful while you are exploring it and gathering the loot. There are multiple traps in the area, so walk slowly to pass perception checks and reveal them all. If a character fails a perception check, switch to a different one and try passing it with them. You’ll find the Toll House (1) by heading north from the Blighted Village, then heading east once you've crossed the bridge, and finally north where you found Karlach. Some players will burn through a game such as Baldur’s Gate 3 as quickly as they can, following the story and then quickly moving on to the next game.

Once you are sure you are safe from the trap, it is time to loot the vault and see what awaits you for solving this tollhouse puzzle. Within Baldurs Gate 3 lies a specific secret area that tantalizingly beckons players who venture into the Toll House Basement. Unlocking the secret door through the use of Stone Chairs can prove perplexing and potentially hazardous.

The agency designed a simple, clear visual and verbal identity to attract new commercial partnerships and raise awareness of One Feeds Two’s cause. "The brand work had to move the project from one man-with-a-soup van, to a credible and desirable brand to engage national and international food partners and feeding charities to creating mass-market appeal for consumers," reveals Hubbard. Now more than ever, designers recognise the importance of turning their hand to become a real force for good. Put into practice, creating in this way can enrich your agency and the work you do. A real emotional investment is often at the core – working with charities can be fulfilling and rewarding in ways that commercial work simply isn’t.

This is why we can easily make these principles our values, our philosophy of how design — hence, UX design — should be for any product or service. "Incorporating pink into your kitchen can be a fun and stylish way to add personality to the space," Salia says. But, you don't have to go with all-pink-everything to implement the retro color trend. For a more subtle approach, use pink in strategic smaller doses through a contrasting kitchen island, a fun accent wall, a statement backsplash or as Salia suggests, "through small countertop appliances and fridges that do not require a huge financial or design commitment." In the book, we weave in design concepts that everyone should know so a broad conversation can occur.

"It begs the question as to whether the creative industry should be selective about the projects they work on if they have the potential to do more harm than good," says Tiffany. Creative studios of all sizes can make an effort to include charity work in their remit, and those that do it well are quite vocal about it. Commercial agencieswill always have one eye on the bottom line, and it can be difficult to identify which charities or social causes are a good fit for your team. Good design emphasizes the usefulness of a product whilst disregarding anything that could possibly detract from it.

Still, 37 “no” votes, while a break from Washington’s ironclad support for the Jewish state, fell short of the opposition bloc progressives had hoped to muster. Thirty-nine Democrats had voted “no” on Friday on the rule to allow the foreign aid package to come to the House floor, a target that progressives just missed on Saturday on the Israel bill. Fourteen of those Democrats voted on Saturday in favor of aid to Israel, while 12 Democrats who voted to allow the package on the floor on Friday then cast votes against the funding itself. Following President Joe Biden’s 2022 State of the Union address, Rep. Ben Cline, R-Botetourt, wore a Ukrainian flag on his lapel as he told a reporter for WUSA Channel 9 that the United States needs to more aggressively support Ukraine. This past April 20, Cline was one of two congressmen from Western Virginia who voted against $60 billion in military aid.

Biden won more than 926,000 votes in this year's primary, compared to about 616,000 for Obama in 2012. That year, about 19,000 Democratic primary voters cast write-in votes. The top of the ticket in Pennsylvania on Tuesday lacked drama, as not only were both Casey and McCormick running unopposed, but the presidential primary amounted to a formality as well, with both Trump and Biden having already clinched their party’s nominations. NBC News projected that both men would win their party’s primaries in Pennsylvania. Burkle already had an interest in architecture, an enthusiasm that started when he was a teenager, looking for a world beyond the confines of his life in a working-class community.

In Pennsylvania's 2020 GOP primary, when Trump was an incumbent and did not face a serious primary challenge, he won just north of 1 million votes. "I'm proud of myself because I'm onto a new thing," Saget told host Radio Rahim in the first part of the interview, which provided a unique glimpse into his state of mind throughout the final months of his life. Barker bought the Spanish-style villa in 1969, according to the listing from Robert Valanda of Flying V Realty Investment Company. The $2,988,000 asking price breaks down to $506 per square foot and a monthly payment of $20,208. The Hopes hired Lautner in 1969, in part because they admired the circular house he had built for Palm Springs’ star interior designer Arthur Elrod, just down the street on Southridge Drive. But in 1973, just as construction was getting underway, a spark from a welder's torch set the roof’s wood sheathing on fire.

He started to read books about famous architects, including Frank Lloyd Wright, and was captivated by photos of Wright’s Ennis house, the largest of the so-called textile block houses that the master built in Los Angeles. The late comedian's Los Angeles estate has hit the market, PEOPLE confirmed. The impressive property includes a six-bedroom main house with two staff bedrooms as well as a two-bedroom apartment. The compound as a whole, which grew significantly over Hope's time there, boasts a total of 10 bedrooms and 17 baths spread across 15,000 square feet. With votes still being counted, Democrats looked to have an edge about about 100,000 voters turn out in their primary compared to the GOP contest. In total, more than 163,000 Republican primary voters either voted for Haley or cast write-in votes.

How the House Voted on Foreign Aid to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan

The entire structure burned down in 15 minutes, and the project was stalled for five years while the Hopes fought a court battle with the contractor. They were Hollywood royalty and wanted a home to reflect that status. Eventually, they hired a Beverly Hills society decorator (who worked for the shah of Iran’s sister) to do the interiors. When the house was completed in 1980, Lautner walked away dismayed. The desert residence was considered as a footnote, rather than a highlight, in a distinguished career. "We knew that the house was truly special from the moment my wife, Dorothy Jo, and I moved in," Barker said.

For example, consider what he said in 2022, shortly after the Russian invasion. So let’s look at their history, and past statements, to see if we can divine anything, eh? We’ll start with Cline, who’s represented the Sixth Congressional District since 2019. Only Rep. Morgan Griffith, R-Salem, voted in favor of additional U.S.-made weapons for Ukraine. But the three-member delegation from Western Virginia didn’t exactly shine with that ballot. Two of our congressmen, Reps. Ben Cline, R-Botetourt, and Bob Good, R-Campbell, voted against Ukraine aid.

A firefighter was able to get all three of the people from the roof and to safety. People that were watching in the street clapped and cheered for the man’s rescue. A firefighter is then seen climbing up a ladder to bring the man and woman, that were already on the roof, to safety. People in the street are heard yelling for the man to get out of the house through the top floor window.

Unfortunately, due to travel restrictions, it isn't currently available for vacationing, but fans worldwide were invited to a free virtual tour of the space. It's the first time the house has hit the market since Saget purchased the home in 2003. During their time there, the Hopes hosted many famous faces, including numerous presidents as well as athletes and actors namely, Joe DiMaggio and Marilyn Monroe, PEOPLE reported at the time of the earlier listing. Adding to the classic feel are the home's six fireplaces and well-preserved original architecture by John Elgin Woolf, who the listing credits as the "father of the Hollywood Regency style."

Russia started it in 2014 by illegally invading and annexing Crimea, while Russian leaders flatly denied the invasion. Then in 2022, Russia went for the rest of Ukraine, after again repeatedly denying its army would invade. Several general election matchups in competitive House races were also set in Pennsylvania, as Republicans nationally are aiming to hold onto a razor-thin majority in the lower chamber this year. This time around, McCormick has the support of Trump, as well as GOP leaders across Pennsylvania.

Within a year, the copper acquired a brown patina, and the house finally seemed to blend a bit with its surroundings. After Dolores Hope died in 2011, at age 102, the Hope house went on the market for $50 million. Eventually, the price was dropped to $24,999,000 (a one-percenter’s notion, perhaps, of a half-price sale).

And a year earlier, the couple's 23,000-square-foot Palm Springs home was listed for sale for $50 million, according to the New York Times. The outdoor area, designed by Art Luna, also includes a variety of lounge and activity spaces, from a saltwater pool to a one-hole golf green Hope designed himself.

Ft. home is now asking $6.99 million, after three months on the market without finding a buyer. It features six bedrooms, six bathrooms, and a range of smart technology fitted by the Full House alum, who died on Jan. 9 at the age of 65. At the age of 15, Burkle talked his father into driving him to see the Ennis house in Los Feliz for himself, and he slipped a note into the mailbox asking if he could come back to see the home’s interior. He was surprised when the owner responded with an invitation for a tour, and his dad took him back to the house on his day off. With the project now in its final stages, the house is almost ready for its relaunch.

As the project was wrapping up in 1979, she was pregnant with a daughter she and her husband would name Adriana. When Arahuete returned from Acapulco in 1973, Lautner asked her to work as the site architect for the Hope house on Southridge Drive in Palm Springs. Now his star student Helena Arahuete is trying to honor Lautner, who died in 1994, by recreating her mentor’s vision for the hillside home.
